Opti RWB Racing Team

The Champ Fleet Race Team is for experienced Opti racers aged 9 to 14 seeking continued development of their skills on a regional-level travel team. Sailors progress into advanced handling and sail trim techniques while developing experience in race tactics, wind strategy, independent decision-making, fitness, tuning, and sailing by the rules. Coaches provide a fun and supportive team environment to both nurture and challenge a competitive sailor through a season of training and regattas.

Fall Season: August 24th – December 10th

Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30pm to 7:30pm and select Saturdays 9am to 1pm.
Regatta Dates: 8/31 – 9/1, 9/28, 10/26-27, 11/9, 12/7

This program is open to all experienced Opti racers aged 9-12 that have completed one season of our Green Fleet Race Team, Opti 3 Advanced Class or equivalent. ​
