Our Mission

Our mission is to support and promote the sport of sailing for the youth of Manatee County and surrounding areas in an atmosphere of fun and good fellowship. We strive to teach sportsmanship, responsibility, self-reliance, and respect for authority, equipment, and the marine environment.

Get started with our Summer Sailing Programs. We teach youth ages 6 – 16 throughout the summer.

Curious about taking your sailing to the next level? We host entry-level and competitive travel team programs throughout the school year.

The Bishop Sailing Center is located on the western side of the Bradenton Yacht Club property in Palmetto, FL.
